Isle of Wight is a lovely place. The chalet was clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the swimming pool. The location was great. Mrs P, Braintree, Essex 11 March 2011
We were here in October and I wished it had been summer. The closeness of the beach meant it would have been an ideal summer holiday. I would love to go back next year when the weather is better. The bungalow was lovely, comfy, clean, tidy and had everything we needed. Mrs C, York, North Yorkshire 31 October 2010
The standard of the accommodation was excellent and the stay was great value for money. A fabulous base to explore the Isle of Wight from. Miss G, Tunbridge Wells, Kent 31 October 2010
We had a terrific time. The bungalow was outstanding. It was so close to the beach
And had a small gate with a shortcut, the children loved it! The site was so
quiet and relaxing, we are definitely coming back. Miss Y, Sandhurst, Berkshire 30 October 2010
We booked this for a short break over the half term break. The property was more than adequate for the 4 of us and the excellent location meant we were often at the local beaches and cafes. When the weather was not so great, the on site swimming pool was great for the kids to spend and hour in and use up some energy. The site is quiet and a little isolated but we liked that. Nearby towns of Freshwater and Yarmouth just a few minutes drive away. Had a lovely time and would love to come back again. Mr D, Sutton, Surrey 30 October 2010
Lovely accommodation and great access to the seafront. We had a great time. Mrs N, SEVENOAKS, Kent 16 September 2010
We had an enjoyable stay at Ladram Bay and loved the coastal walks to Budleigh Salterton and Sidmouth! Mr E, Kettering, Northamptonshire 14 September 2010
Excellent base for families to stay, straightforward access to very safe, sandy beach. Mrs P, Southampton, Hampshire 12 September 2010
The accommodation was very comfortable with very a good standard of equipment. I would recommend this place as a quiet holiday park not too far away from good pubs & ample local shops within easy reach. Mr N, SHEFFIELD, Yorkshire 31 August 2010
Accommodation and park facilities were all very clean, staff were friendly. Would definitely recommend Island View in Freshwater IOW for a good family holiday. Mrs L, Caterham, Surrey 30 August 2010
Definitely recommend this holiday. Will definitely return. Accommodation, location, cleanliness, facilities, etc. all excellent. Mrs M, ROSS-ON-WYE, Herefordshire 17 August 2010
This is the 3rd holiday booked on line with Hoeseasons and been very pleased. The situation of this holiday place was excellent for getting to the sandy beach which was only 3 mins walk from the accommodation with a little cafe overlooking the sea. The local people very friendly and chatty making you feel part of the community. The island is small so it did not take long in the car to get to all the tourist places, brilliant if you are travelling with children. The actual accommodation suited our needs, no real garden around for children to play in but with a 10 and 13 year old was not an issue for us. The swimming pool was relatively small and basic but still ok, good tennis court which was free to use (refundable deposit). Mr R, Stowmarket, Suffolk 05 August 2010
Very good quality accommodation, nice and quiet, good for families with young kids, near beach, nice swimming pool and near to lots of island attractions; we had a great holiday. Mrs V, Epsom, Surrey 02 August 2010
Island View Holiday Homes were in a great location on the west of the island. The 300m walk to the beach is flat (good for pushchairs) and on a pavement, there are two cafe on/by the beach with fantastic home cooked cakes on offer!
This side of the island seems to be quiet so perfect for family life - just be sure to keep a note of the tides as at high tide there is no beach left - but there is a walkway that can take you round to Totland Bay with a great view of the needles.
The indoor swimming pool is kept at a good temperature and is open from 9am - don't forget to take your beach towel as there are no changing rooms and you will therefore want to walk back to your bungalow with your towel around you!
Mr H, Thame, Oxfordshire 23 July 2010
Accommodation exactly as described and of a very high standard. Very peaceful site but very close to the beach and two nice pubs/restaurants. Well maintained site and furnishings and fixtures of high standard. Mrs S, Oldham, Lancashire 13 July 2010
Fantastic accommodation, a 2 minute walk from the beach where you can have a well priced breakfast. All fixtures and fittings bring a real home from home feeling. Top marks guys. Thank you. Mr H, Northampton, Northamptonshire 12 July 2010
The location and accommodation was fab just as shown in the picture which was a pleasant suprise! The staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble, would definitely visit again. Mrs K, Southampton, Hampshire 12 July 2010
A very nice holiday village in a beautiful location. Bungalows were a real home from home with everything a family need for a successful holiday. Only a five minute drive from the ferry terminal and a two minute walk to the beach at Colwell bay. The swimming pool was ideal, open from early in the morning until seven o' clock in the evening, perfect for me as I like an early morning dip. As a bonus, the water was ozone treated so no nasty chlorine smells. I would reccommend this holiday very highly. Mrs R, DERBY 12 July 2010
The accommodation was immaculate and the surroundings peaceful. No rowdy late night parties so always got a great sleep. Only a few hundreds yard from the beach and a swimming pool and tennis court on site. For me and my family it was a perfect pick. Mr T, Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire 11 July 2010
Lovely accommodation, very well equipped. Great location. Would definitely recommend to others. Mrs B, Harrow, Middlesex 06 July 2010
The whole Hoseasons holiday experience was completely enjoyable. The staff at the resort were very friendly & more than happy to help with any enquiries. The accommodation was well set out & situated close to the local beach. Mrs C, Derby, Derbyshire 04 July 2010
The holiday was fabulous. The standard of accommodation was super. Very clean and very nicely furnished and all the white goods you need in the kitchen. The site facilities were great. Swimming pool and tennis court (remember your rackets). A two minute walk to a wonderful beach which goes on and on when the tide is out. Lovely beach cafes and shop for that forgotten paper and milk to inflatable dolphin. Location to other attractions very convenient no more than a half hour drive really. We will be going again next year. Cannot wait. Mrs S, Hassocks, West Sussex 01 July 2010
Great park, lovely relaxed location. Best accommodation on Isle of Wight and I should know as I have been going for 30 years. Well done to all at Island View, 110% is my score. Please keep it up as I look forward to coming back all year round. Mr P, Cheadle 01 July 2010
Fantastic location, very peaceful, not sure it would be the same during school holidays as it is a family site. Staff very helpful, they could not do enough for you. We forgot to take some DVD's for the evening and they where only to glad to loan us some of their own. We will be going back again no doubt about that. Wish I had found this place sooner. Miss W, Mansfield, Nottinghamshire 01 July 2010
It was what we wanted, lovely and quiet with a pool and the sea nearby, don't go there if you want cabaret everynight! So peaceful. Mrs R, CRAWLEY, West Sussex 27 June 2010

I found this holiday very relaxing and was perfect for my family. The accommodation that was pictured in the brochure and website was just like the real thing. Mrs C, CRAWLEY, West Sussex 06 April 2010
I thoroughly recommend Island View on the Isle of Wight. What a fantastic location - the most beautiful part of the whole island, just a 5 minute walk from the beach which is miles of golden sand. When the sun was shining we felt like we were abroad! The accommodation is brilliant, and as a couple with a young child it was perfect for us. The owners are very child friendly and made us feel extremely welcome. A lot of care and attention has been put into the decor and we felt very at home there. I would (and have) recommended Island View to anyone that is looking for a relaxing and comfortable holiday on the Isle of Wight. We will be going every year now! Mrs K, Southampton 20 November 2009

The park is small, quiet and very pretty with the well kept gardens. It is only a 5 minute walk to the beach and cafes and the bungalows are very well equipped with ever thing you need. The holiday was very good value for money - the best short break I have been on! Mr F, EASTBOURNE, East Sussex 19 June 2009
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Island View. The bungalow was very clean and well maintained, and we liked the close proximity to the beach and that we could park right outside our accommodation. The indoor pool was an added bonus and was also nicely maintained and very clean and tidy. Although it is located right on the west coast of the island, nowhere takes very long to get to, so we would certainly consider staying here again if we returned to the Isle of Wight. Mrs H, Horsham, West Sussex 15 June 2009
The accommodation and park were excellent. The bungalows are fitted to a very high standard and have everyting you need and the warden is very welcoming and helpful.
The swimming pool is also extremely good and access to the beach is superb, a 5-10 minute walk and you are on Colwell Bay beach which has a lovely sandy beach at low tide, and even in the week before Easter we had a couple of afternoons playing in the sunshine on the beach - brilliant.
The local amenities are also very good, supermarkets and take-aways are all within easy reach. A great base to explore the island - I highly recommed it and will be back as soon as I can!
